Adventure races have become a popular new sport in the last few years, usually asking competitors to tackle the wilds of Ireland running, climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, navigating, camping etc.
Very often competitors may have the running, navigation and biking skills but are lacking the kayaking skills. Having even a small bit of kayaking skill can give you that edge and time advantage when racing, especially when weather is proving difficult.
You can make up time on the water by simply taking one paddling skills session with us. Jon has a keen interest in racing himself and has been a level 5 BCU/ICU Instructor for 10 years.
