The Sea Kayak is one of the most versatile ways in which to view the ocean and its coastline! Over the years we have run many very successful trips into the wilds of West Cork. This season we have a trip that will grab your imagination. We start off by meeting at 7pm at the pier head in Kinsale where our expert guides will have the Sea Kayaks ready packed to go. All you need to do is show up with a simple list of gear as we provide all specialist kit.
Then its off for a short but scenic paddle to an Island campsite that will serve as our launchpad for the weekends adventures. We'll set up camp, train in campcraft skills and get set for Saturday!
Saturday morning will start with a healthy breakfast and some packing for a wonderful day trip by Sea Kayak in the famed Old Head of Kinsale where we will explore the stunning coastal scenery. A picnic lunch along the way will keep you energised. That evening we will return to camp, cook up and feed you well! Then a relaxing evening by the campfire with hot toddies and stories.
Sunday then we will break camp, pack up and head off for another day of wonderful kayaking before finishing mid afternoon back in kinsale.
The trip includes:
Two nights Camping with all specialist equipment included.
- A full weekends Sea Kayaking with an expert fully qualified guide.
- All Sea Kayaking equipment provided.
- All Camping food included ie breakfasts, lunches and dinners. However if you want your own treats / wine / beer you are welcome to bring these along.
